Oxidized Silver Necklace with Black and Turquoise Pearls

Oxidized silver, deeply blackened, provides wonderful contrast in this handsome necklace. The focal is a cluster of plump freshwater pearls in offwhite, vivid turquoise, and black (the black will appear purple, deep blue, or black, depending on the light). The clasp and fittings are all sterling silver - darkly oxidized. You may request this necklace in shining silver as well. This handmade necklace is available in custom sizing to eighteen inches at no extra charge.

The pendant measures just under 1½", and the necklace as shown is approximately 16½". Since this is a handmade necklace, you may request custom sizing to 18" (no extra charge).

This sterling silver and pearl bracelet is all about contrast. The freshwater cultured pearls are white oval rice,slightly nuggety with a lovely soft glow. The pearls are individually hand-wired and linked with sterling silver to make a long chain - but in this case, the sterling silver is darkly oxidized for a blackened finish. The clasp is oxidized silver as well - as is the pearl dangle added near the clasp. The dangle as shown is a prized black pearl - it will look black, deep purple, or dark blue, depending on the light. You may request the pearl dangle in white, peacock blue, pink or peach. There is no additional charge, of course.Custom sizing is available from six to eight inches for the price shown.
Coordinating bracelets 		These earrings are made with sterling silver filigree, deeply oxidized to almost black. Plump freshwater pearls are handwired to dangle from the filigree - the pearls are luminous in turquoise and black. The earwires are sterling silver, oxidized to match the filigree.
Coordinating earrings 		Black pearl earrings with a new twist. The earrings are made with all sterling silver in a darkly oxidized, blackened finish. These are sterling silver - with attitude. The black pearls will have a very dark purple or blue cast in certain lights - and they're plump and nuggety, 9-10 mm in diameter. The pearls dangle from textured silver rings, and the ear drops measure just over one half inch below the sterling earwires.
