Blue and Green Handmade Heart Lacquered Paper Earrings with Silver These handmade heart earrings are fresh and original in soft blue and green, accented with offwhite and black. The lacquered hearts are the only ornament - and sometimes that's the way it should be. Wear these for fun! The hearts measure approximately one inch long, and the earwires are sterling silver. These earrings are my original design. The lacquered drops are made with several layers of cold-pressed paper, with multiple layers of lacquer added for both gloss and durability. The lacquering process is time-consuming but the end result is extremely strong - I've been wearing my favorite pairs for over ten years and they look great.
