Lacquered Paper Earrings with Pink Roses on Yellow These earrings have pretty pink roses (an original design, like all my lacquered jewelry). WThe colors are soft and pretty - green leave, naturally, and a sunny yellow background, showing off the pink rose design. If you're in the mood for some pretty color these will please you! The lacquered drops are accented with golden bali-style spacers and pretty green Swarovski crystals. Very girly :-) The lacquered teardrops are approx. 1¼" long, and the total earring length is just under 1-3/4" below gold-filled earwires. These earrings are my original design. The lacquered drops are made with several layers of cold-pressed paper, with multiple layers of lacquer added for both gloss and durability. The lacquering process is time-consuming but the end result is extremely strong - I've been wearing my favorite pairs for over ten years and they look great.
