Blue Pansy Lacquered Paper Earrings with Black Pearls and Silver Pansies are one of my favorite flowers - they are so individual, they are so full of lovely color, and they are very feminine! These handmade earrings feature blue pansies, with touches of yellow and white. The flowers drops are decorated with bali silver daisy spacers and handwired black pearls (note that these gorgeous pearls will appear black, dark blue, or purple, according to the available light.) The earrings measure approx. 1½" below sterling silver earwires. The lacquered pansies in these handmade earrings are from my original drawing. The drops are made with several layers of paper, with multiple layers of lacquer added for both gloss and durability. The lacquering process is time-consuming but the end result is extremely strong - I've been wearing my favorite pairs for over ten years and they look great.
