Happy Colors Lacquered Paper Earrings with Swarovski Crystals These are happy colors! One of my favorites, these handmade earrings are a sort of abstract flower shape, made with wonderful colors - soft yellow, orange, blue and green. The lacquered drops are accented with handwired Swarovski crystals in aqua blue and peridot green. The earrings measure a little over one inch long below gold-filled earwires. These earrings are my original design. The lacquered drops are made with several layers of cold-pressed paper, with multiple layers of lacquer added for both gloss and durability. The lacquering process is time-consuming but the end result is extremely strong - I've been wearing my favorite pairs for over ten years and they look great.
