Eco Friendly and Good Looking Too!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:40 pm

Take a look at this tee. I love the shape, the vivid color, the tiny sleeve, the fact that it looks girly but it’s simple.

fine jersey 100% bamboo tee

This is a quote: “Bamboo fiber is softer than the softest cotton, has a natural sheen to the surface and feels similar to silk or cashmere…Unlike other anti-microbial fabrics, which require a chemical treatment, bamboo fiber clothing is naturally anti-microbial and requires no harmful chemicals. It contains an agent, “bamboo kun”, that prevents bacteria from cultivating on it. Bamboo apparel is comfortable, thermal regulating and will keep you cooler, drier, warmer and odor free.”

It sounds yummy. It looks yummy. And it’s only $24 at www.bamboosa.com. I haven’t bought any yet, but I’m tempted. A sustainable resource - that looks good - that you can wash - that’s affordable. What’s not to love?!

  1. Dear Jen,
Thanks for the tip about Bambooza. Nice website. I am going to order a couple of v neck tee shirts for the summer. Also will order a Bambooza baby towel for my new baby granddaughter Rose. Sounds great and ecologically correct. I am one for anything that helps the environment.
    Best Wishes
    Marie

  2. Marie, just wanted to add that I recently saw one of the bamboo tees in person (my sister took my rec and bought herself a couple!) — Super soft and drapey - I was very pleased. She’d washed it, so I could see what it was like after ordinary machine washing…. worked a charm.
