Independence Day
Happy day to our nation! Among all the picnics and fireworks (if the rain lets up here) I’m going to take a few minutes at least to think about the freedoms our nation stands for - freedoms that we can’t afford to take for granted - or abuse. And to celebrate the smarts that a bunch of men (and women) demonstrated a couple hundred years ago. Thank you!
This is also set to be the launch day for Shuttle Flight STS-121. 
Weather permitting, they’re set to go up this afternoon. Please go safely, or don’t go And godspeed.
